Currently, and since July 2023, on long-term continuing loan to the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen [State Art Collections] Dresden, where it is exhibited in the magnificent Klingersaal [Klinger Hall] of the Albertinum, Dresden's museum of modern art.

Previously, on short-term loan to the Museum Wiesbaden, Germany, February 24 to July 23, 2023, for the exhibition "Escapism and Modernity: Oskar Zwintscher and the Art around 1900."

And, before that, on short-term loan to the Albertinum, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen [State Art Collections], Dresden, Germany, where the painting was exhibited December 1, 2019 - January 15, 2023, as a part of the project titled "Oskar Zwintscher (1870–1916), Das unbekannte Meisterwerk" ["Oskar  Zwintscher (1870-1916): The Unknown Masterpiece"], commemorating the 150th anniversary of Zwintscher's birth; and the exhibition "Weltflucht und Moderne: Oskar Zwintscher in der Kunst um 1900" ["Escapism and Modernity: Oskar Zwintscher, Art in 1900"], May 14, 2022 - January 15, 2023.

On loan to the Musée d'Orsay, Paris, in 2021, as the "face" of the exhibition "Les origines du monde: L'invention de la nature au XIXe siècle" ["The Origins of the World: The Invention of Nature in the 19th century"]. 

Forthcoming loan, January 9, 2024-June 21, 2024, to Stanford University for the exhibition, in the Cecil H. Green Library's Hohbach Hall, "The Apes & Us: A Century of Representations of Our Closest Relatives."

Previously, on loan to the Badisches Landesmuseum [Baden State Museum] Karlsruhe for the exhibition "Göttinnen des Jugendstils" ["Goddesses of Art Nouveau"], December 18, 2021-September 11, 2022; on loan to the Braunschweigisches Landesmuseum, from October 2022 to March 2023, for the exhibition "Ein Teil von uns. Deutsch-jüdische Geschichten aus Niedersachsen" ["Part of us. German-Jewish Stories from Lower Saxony"]; and on loan to the Braunschweigisches Landesmuseum for the exhibition "Göttinnen des Jugendstils" ["Goddesses of Art Nouveau"], March 29-September 10, 2023.
