The Daulton Collection
About the Collection
The Daulton Collection is a large collection of western art (European) and non-western art (Asian, African, South American, and Oceanic) owned by Jack Daulton of Los Altos Hills, California.  The collection also includes a group of materials (maps, correspondence, photographs, etc.) related to the history of exploration, travel, and science.  Discrete and limited portions of the collection have been digitized and published on separate websites which are works in progress (as is this website), including:

www.symbolismus.com

www.gabrielvonmax.com,

www.ottogreiner.com,

www.marieellenrieder.com,

www.frauen-kunst.com,

www.franzvonstuck.com,

and www.daultonart.com (antique and ethnographic textiles and art).

All works in The Daulton Collection are generally available for exhibition loan, free of charge and, in appropriate cases, with shipping costs covered by the collection. High-resolution digital photographs are generally available, free of charge in most cases (e.g., exhibition catalogues, academic publications, non-profit uses, and the like).
